Clare Cox plays a pivotal role in helping clients achieve organizational effectiveness through HR and talent strategies with measurable impact on bottom line performance. Clare’s expertise in best practice solutions for job matching, employee engagement and development, leadership development and emotional intelligence in the workplace provides organizations with the competitive advantage needed to attract and retain high performing people. Clare has 25 years of experience as a consultant, facilitator, trainer and executive coach. She is co-founder of Tidemark Corporation, a Boston area consulting firm that specializes in the full spectrum of talent management services and solutions. As President, she is responsible for internal and external HR services and is a key contributor to new business development.
Before founding Tidemark, Clare was a partner in Cambridge Resource Group, a regional management consulting firm. Prior to her consulting career, she held a number of senior management positions with New England-based companies including Polaroid Corporation, Digital Equipment Corporation and Raytheon. Clare has designed and implemented nationally distributed performance solutions, including a value-add sales training program to help financial advisors penetrate the high-net-worth market. She designed and managed a professional development program for The Ad Club of Boston for almost 10 years, helping advertising and communications professionals grow their careers.
Clare is an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the Association for Talent Development (ATD), and the South Shore Chamber of Commerce where she has served in numerous leadership roles. Clare is one of 40 Boston-area women business leaders to serve as a mentor for the highly acclaimed Boston Business Journal BizWomen, a multi-platform product offering connections through news and events. She has served as a mentor to senior corps members of City Year Boston. Clare is certified in the use of industry-leading talent assessments including the most highly validated version of DISC and EQ-i 2.0, proven to help individuals reach their potential, and leaders improve performance and transform organizations. She is certified in TriMetrix® assessments for talent-to-job matching and talent development. Clare earned a MEd from Boston University and BA from the University of Massachusetts. She is an outdoor enthusiast and avid Boston sports fan. Clare and her husband live on Cape Cod.
